» A Journey From Test Tube To Algae Harvesting Pond
Selected algal species were procured from one of the reputed Algae Research centre in UK. To acclimatize to Indian climatic conditions, these algal cultures were sub cultured several times on synthetic and natural algae growth media. From test tube the algae culture was grown stepwise to build the large size inoculum which was finally added to the actual algae harvesting pond with about 30000 litres capacity which is now ready for harvesting algae on commercial scale.
